O TE AMORANGA TAI AO
To connect our mountains spiritually through culture and caring
An experience that acknowledges the unique culture of Māori through our places, our people, and our stories.
Our Places
Our Maunga - mountains, Awa - rivers and Ngāhere - forests are the sprirtual realms in which all things are derived. It is the Taiao – natural environment from which these are born and the source of our existence.
The home to some of the most breath-taking sights in Aotearoa, all with their own captivating stories. Stories that bring to life the rich history of our Atua – Gods, and Tūpuna – Ancestors, connecting us as mana whenua – authority over our lands. It is our connection to the land that provides our identity, our belonging, our world

Our People
Our Mauri – life principle derives from our Whakapapa – genealogy and guidance from our tūpuna (ancestors). It is in knowing who we are and where we have come from that our purpose becomes clear.
We observe the lines of descendancy among our people which are strengthened by our shared connections through stories and each other.
Our Stories
As Kaitiaki - guardians, it is our honour and privilege to share the stories of our tūpuna; acknowledging the pathway they shaped for us to follow.
The stories we share, convey the values that have been handed down by our tūpuna to the descendant, to ensure these noble narratives are preserved.
